    Vece Paes and Leander Paes were part of unique feat in Indian sport

    Vece Paes, a former Indian hockey player and Olympic bronze medalist at the 1972 Munich Games, passed away at 80 in Kolkata after battling Parkinson's disease. A versatile sportsman, he also served as president of the Indian Rugby Football Union. His son, Leander Paes, continued the Olympic legacy, winning a tennis bronze in 1996.
