    Donald Trump declared that Armenia and Azerbaijan are set to sign a peace agreement. The agreement aims to end decades of hostility. It includes joint economic ventures. A transit corridor, the Trump Route, is planned. This will connect Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan. The Karabakh region has been a conflict zone. Azerbaijan reclaimed Karabakh in September 2023.
