    Khalid Jamil has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian Senior Men’s National Football Team, marking the first time an Indian has held the position since 2012. The former India international midfielder brings a wealth of experience, including leading Aizawl FC to an I-League title. India will play Singapore in the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers on October 9 and 14.
