    Bonanza for farmers: Government hikes MSP for Kharif crops, extends facility for low-interest loans

    The Union Cabinet has approved increased Minimum Support Prices for 14 Kharif crops for the 2025-26 season, with the highest hike for nigerseed. Paddy MSP rises to Rs 2,369 per quintal. Simultaneously, the Modified Interest Subvention Scheme continues, offering farmers affordable credit via Kisan Credit Cards with subsidized interest rates and incentives for timely repayment.
