    ICC slaps five-year ban on ex-cricketer for match fixing

    Saliya Saman, a former Sri Lankan cricketer, has been banned from all cricket for five years after being found guilty of breaching the ECB Anti-Corruption Code. The charges relate to attempts to corrupt matches in the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League. Saman was found guilty on three counts, including attempting to fix matches and offering rewards for corrupt conduct.
