Italian crypto millionaire escapes torture after kidnapping, runs barefoot to NYPD officer

An Italian crypto millionaire, Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, was allegedly tortured in New York. He was held captive for his cryptocurrency password. He escaped and approached the police. John Woeltz has been arrested. He is charged with kidnapping and assault. William Duplessie surrendered to police. Beatrice Folchi was also taken into custody but later released. The investigation is ongoing.
